Raising Standards of Achievement

We recognise the importance of using increasingly limited school budgets effectively, and maximising the impact and outcomes for pupils. The use of Pupil Premium Funding to close the achievement gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers is of significance to Leadership teams. Our wealth of experience in this field is used to support schools to make the best possible use of the funds with maximum benefit to the pupils.

 

OFSTED STYLE REVIEW

 

We use the Ofsted framework to undertake a full review of current practise including; website compliance, policy and practise, assessment and evaluation of current spending and outcomes over time. We provide immediate verbal feedback to the leadership team and a detailed written report. The report will recommend action points and offer support.

 

BESPOKE ADVICE & SUPPORT

 

We draw on our experience and wide-ranging research to offer a range of strategies to improve achievement of disadvantaged students and narrow the gap. We draw on our successes to help schools develop a coherent strategy of raising achievement and supporting disadvantaged pupils to make better than expected progress.

 

BESPOKE PROGRAMMES FOR SPECIFIC GROUPS OF UNDERACHIEVING PUPILS

 

We undertake careful and detailed analysis of data to identify vulnerable groups of pupils. To undertake lesson observations and interviews with both students and staff to clarify the barriers to learning and progress. To work with school leadership to provide advice and support to initiate programmes that address the barriers of these groups.
